Prayers For Reality TV Star Louise Thompson: Her Fiance Confirmed Tragic News

Former Made In Chelsea star Louise Thompson is currently in hospital, her fiance has shared with fans.Louise has suffered from severe health issues and complications since giving birth to her first child at the end of 2021. The reality TV star broke down in tears in December last year, as she detailed her bid to recover from PTSD two years on from the traumatic birth of her child.

But it appears Louise’s progress has took a sad turn, with the star currently in hospital once again. Writing on his Instagram Stories on Sunday night, Ryan Libbey revealed the mum-of-one has been in hospital for almost two weeks now and is not sure when she will be discharged and return home.

“Louise has been in hospital for 12 days now,” he began as he broke the news to his followers. “We don’t know when she will be ready to come home yet. But thank you to everyone who has sent messages of love and support to our family. It does help.” Ryan then shared a snap of himself and son Leo-Hunter, two, and confessed: “We’re missing mummy everyday.”
Louise last updated her Instagram account seven days ago, sharing some snaps of her young son taken during a holiday abroad. She told her followers: “These are exactly the types of photos that were stuck together in a collage by my dad on a wall in my downstairs loo at home that I used to stare at when I was feeling really really sad. I’d look at them and long to be that happy and carefree again. I used to talk to the girl in the photo and cry. I’d say please get me back there, back to that. Please can I unlearn what I know. Please can I just be normal again. I was wearing ill fitting Oakleys, a cap and had busy hair poking out the side.”

The reality TV star continued in her caption to explain how “when you have kids, stress, illness, age, or anything against you, you might find yourself in a position where you have to start using your resources a little more wisely” and share how she is learning to “learning to lean into and be grateful for those imperfect in-between moments because nothing lasts forever.

Louise and Ryan welcomed their first “little miracle baby” in November 2021, but the birth was dramatic and left both mother and baby “dancing with death”. Despite giving birth in November, Louise almost didn’t make it home for Christmas due to serious complications. The former Made in Chelsea star was confined to a wheelchair and spent a month in hospital recovering.

She kept the arrival of her first child private for five weeks. During this time, she experienced things that reminded her how precious life is. Doctors worked tirelessly to save Louise’s life – with the grateful star later admitting that she doesn’t know if she would be alive without the NHS.
Just two days before Christmas 2021, Louise announced the arrival of her baby on Instagram. She also shared the happy news that she was being discharged from hospital to continue her recovery at home. “5 weeks ago I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy Leo-Hunter Libbey weighing in at 7lbs. Unfortunately it wasn’t the easiest start for either of us. One ended up in NICU and the other ended up in ICU,” she told her many Instagram followers at the time.

Louise continued to recall how little Leo-Hunter got better quite fast, but she had to fight “so many bad things” and the experience left her looking at life differently. “To dance with death twice brings a whole new view of the world,” she shared openly in her message.

In December last year, two years on from giving birth to Leo-Hunter, Louise reflected on her post-partum journey and health issues. Penning an emotional letter on Instagram, the star wrote: “Here’s a reminder that a lot can change in a year. A lot can change in 6 months. Indeed a lot can change in a month but it’s hard to witness the change until you create some sizeable distance from it.”

As she continued to share her progress with fans, Louise added: “I’m crying writing this. I’m feeling very emotional today. I can’t lie it feels nice to purge my pain. I encourage you to try writing and crying too. Sometimes it helps. But the main reason I’m writing this is because I really want you guys to know that you must keep moving forward. Don’t give up. Because there will be a time when you will want to wear a pretty party dress again. You will shine again.”
