The first ever Turning Point USA (TPUSA) halftime show, officially titled the “All-American Halftime Show,” will be a live-streamed event scheduled to coincide with the halftime of Super Bowl LX. Organized by the conservative nonprofit group founded by the late Charlie Kirk, this alternative performance aims to provide viewers with an option separate from the NFL’s official halftime show headlined by Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny.
The organization moved forward with the plan — which was initially conceived by Charlie Kirk himself — to counter the politically-charged halftime act. Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rico-born hip-hop/pop artist, has frequently criticized the Trump Administration on federal immigration policy and more. These denouncements frequently blend into his performances and media appearances, including last week, when he delivered anti-Trump remarks at the Grammys.
